Street Pole Dance!

As a pole dancing student, it is very difficult for me to resist the dark force to strike some pole poses on these street “poles” :p

These “poles” are indeed directional signs, which are part of the “Visitor Signage Improvement Scheme” implemented by the Hong Kong Tourism Commission.

There are mainly 3 types: Directional Sign, Mapboard and Idenification Sign. These visitor signage aimed to provide convenience for visitors while travelling around Hong Kong.

These photos are listed according to the dates they were taken:

shoulder mount at the Expo

Went to the Asia World Expo Hong Kong for a car show and saw a nice little street lamp… couldn’t resist on doing some pole move there! Sorry that I showed my little belly there :p

You know, since it’s a car show, there are loads of weird guys over there, I had to wait for quite a while until nobody was there to see my stupid action! Anyway, it was fun :-D

Finally managed to “invade” the Disney land!!!

Went to the Disney for it’s “Halloween” special on 24th Oct, and since I drove, I didn’t have to leave early for the MTR (I stayed until nearly 1am, haha)…

We were like the last few visitors there and so…. I’ve had “nearly” the entire Disney for ouselves, hehe, that was why I could take such a stupid shot, with the lighted castles at the back :p

Went to Lamma Island on 7th October 2008. Saw quite a number of these tourists information signs along the hiking path linking Sok Koo Wan and Yung Shue Wan. Decided to do some pole tricks on them :p

Taken at a car park…. it was raining and so the “pole” was kinda slippery, plus, it has a large width and so it was quite difficult to hold it! Tried doing an inversion but failed. My hands were coated with weird white powder afterwards, but the pictures definitely worth the try, hee

OK, I do admit and I’m a bit mad these days… whenever I see a pole on the street, I would think of the possibility of doing some moves on it.

I wanted to do an inversion but there were several people around and I was kinda shy (haha) so I gave up :p

It was fun, I should start a section on “pole dancing at weird places”, lol. I knew that was a girl who did some crazy moves outside the Rome Colosseum.

I really like this picture (thanks to the one who took this pic!) especially with the water host (I have no idea on what it is called…)

p.s. as you might have noticed, this was taken at the Peak, hee

I have sprained my second toe last week (I know this is weird but somehow I managed to) and therefore I have to stop practicing = wearing high heels :-(

I miss my pole so dearly that I couldn?t stop myself from striking a little pose – Sit on Pole…. But on a cable car in the Ocean Park Hong Kong. I know this sounds kinda nuts (and I could hear people from the other cable car screaming when they saw me doing that…)

Anyway, i will (and I have to) start practicing soon otherwise I would loose all my pole strength!
