Short comments:

This DVD covers quite a huge variety of pole moves, from beginner spins like the fairy to intermediate poses like the germini.

It also has a good coverage on muscle training and strength building.

However, in order to make good use of this DVD, you would require a basic knowledge of pole dancing as it does not cover any warming up exercises.

Elena Gibson (the lady in red) once won the title of Miss Pole Dance World 2005 which was the first ever competition organised. This DVD has quite a good coverage on warm up. Not much skills are covered as this is only volume ONE.

I do recommend this DVD to all beginners. I am looking forward to volume II.

From what I rememberd, only 2-3 skills were covered! It’s a waste of money from my point of view. It is good for beginners as each move was broken down into bits by bits. It does have a calming down section which I think is good.

This DVD is perfect for people who has never touch a pole! (sorry)

This DVD is by far the best DVD! It has great coverage on warm ups and stretching! Transitions, floor moves (e.g. floor to pole and vice versa), spins, climbs are all covered. All the skills are presented progressively according to their level.

And the great thing is, there’s a list of combos (post to spins, or spins to spins) listed at the end of the programme, which I found very useful. It covers from beginners move like the fireman up to intermediate moves like climbing and basic inverts.

I strongly recommend this DVD to all beginners and intermediate level students. Advanced students can use this DVD as a warming up instructions.

This DVD, together with the volume 1, are my favourites. Very detailed explainations on gripping and hand positions… I just love this DVD :-)

It covers from basic inverts like germini, inverted V, upto more advanced moves like the Iguana.

I strongly recommend this DVD to all intermediate-advancved pole dancing students!

This DVD is demonstrated by one of the best pole dancers of the US – Pantera. Several advanced moves are covered… it gives good explanation on pressure points on the pole.. etc

Seriously, I haven’t watch this DVD properly as I don’t find seeing Pantera dancing naked enjoyable (sorry!)
