Pole Friction@TribecaPosted by: dindin in Places where you can dance!, Pole Dancing Parties, Uncategorized

Got my shoulder mount several weeks ago and I now have no problems in doing it. Even tried shoulder mount into an inverted V. The only problem is that my head seems to be touching the ground while I shoulder mount from the sitting down position. Anyway, I think it’s because you do have a tendency of sliding down after you have inverted, so I will have to do the inverted caterpillar climb immediately rather than “taking a rest” after I’ve inverted. So, my next step is to try shoulder mounting from mid-air. One of my goal is to do a shoulder mount in mid-air into the superman pose. That requires alot more arm strength which IS something I don’t have. Just want to drop down several tips on shoulder mount:
Hope these helps Ashley, Charlene and Toni all came over for some crazy pole dancing shots on Friday night…. it was nuts, but we did have loads of fun, hee So here are some of the “normal” + proper looking pics

Darth Vader Superman - On the pole!Posted by: dindin in Going Nuts, Pole Dancing Parties, UncategorizedGosh! This is nuts! Didn’t know someone actually took a pic of it…. Cos I thought I didn’t go it properly - I couldn’t see a damn thing inside the mask! The visibility was OK to start with, but then once I got inverted - the mask kinda dropped out and my vision was blocked! That reminds me of Mulan (from the Bobbi’s Studio) did a Storm trouper - look alike pole dance in the Australian pole dancing competition 2007… !*!#^@$ This is mad… But then, on the other hand, I AM combining the both of my favorite! it’s amazing how strong the X-pole is….Posted by: dindin in Going Nuts, Pole Dancing Parties
**This list is constantly being updated
Although you can pole dance to pretty much any songs of different styles, there are always a particular few that you like. So I’ve decided to put my list down here, together with a playlist player from my last.fm page, hope you’ll like them. It HAS TO BE the Jason Nevins Remix, cos the original version is rather slow and not so good for pole dancing. The Bobbis studio in Australia has created a routine for this song and it remains one of my favourite routines. haha, the usual selection. Britney did some pole dancing in her video (did she? ummmm). But this song is nice for pole, not too fast and kinda sexy. Hee Classic song for pole dancing! This song is great for performances on spinning pole… cos the background rythm feels like going round and round and round and round…. Got loads of beads that allow you to sway your pelvis! Hohoho, another classic song for pole dancing. Joan Jett & the Blackhearts’ version would do too… Britney’s version has a stronger beat though, i.e. easier to make specific movements Makes me think of Pantera (the American pole dancer, not the band :-p) This song is just soooo horny OK, I know this sounds a bit weird for pole dancing. Just listent to it, this song has a very dynamic range of slow and fast beats, allowing you to do different moves/spins at different part of the song. Do some strong moves after the counting of 1-10 (Eins…. Aus); or after each sentense, e.g. after “Alle warten auf das Licht”… and etc etc… Hip Hop plus pole dancing! Great range of beats! You can swing your head at every “STOP!”, I think (from my point of view), it’s very sexy. This song allows you to pole dance in a sad way (or sad and sexy way). This is a very sexy song. Also good for lapdancing :p I love the bass used in this song… makes it even sexier OMG, one of my favourite songs… get a Prince-styled outfit and do similar dance/pole moves as in the video! Ummm… i can’t explain. It’s just good for pole dancing, and it’s sexy :p R&Bs are always good for pole dancing Haha, just touch your humps during “my lovely lady lumps” “my humps my humps”… etc! p.s. because of the strong beats too! Do a short swing at each “Turn around” followed by a spin… This song has some strong beats to dance to! Do a head swing or dip I prefer the version from her “Get the party started” album, it’s a re-make which has stronger beats and a more “modern” feel, makes it more suitable for pole dancing. You can always do a leg split on the pole after the “the minute you walk in the joint, or “so let me get right to the point”… Yes, NOT Donna Summer’s verion, but Vanessa Mae’s version. I *think* the vocal is really by Vanessa Mae. Anyway, I think this is a good song for pole dancing. It has strong beats, but with long melodic periods and a crazy violin solo (it’s Vanessa Mae’s version afterall!) which is great for doing some short and quick move like… inverted V into germini, then scorpio and back to germini… etc etc (or the “Electric Switch” as called by KT Coats) hee. I just love this song

Talking about addicted to pole dancing? Here’s another examplePosted by: dindin in Pole Dance@Weird places, Random Pole Dancing PicsOK, I do admit and I’m a bit mad these days… whenever I see a pole on the street, I would think of the possibility of doing some moves on it. I wanted to do an inversion but there were several people around and I was kinda shy (haha) so I gave up :p It was fun, I should start a section on “pole dancing at weird places”, lol. I knew that was a girl who did some crazy moves outside the Rome Colosseum. I really like this picture (thanks to the one who took this pic!) especially with the water host (I have no idea on what it is called…) p.s. as you might have noticed, this was taken at the Peak, hee Tags: crazy pole, Photo, pole dancing, weird |
