Street Pole Dance!
As a pole dancing student, it is very difficult for me to resist the dark force to strike some pole poses on these street “poles” :p
These “poles” are indeed directional signs, which are part of the “Visitor Signage Improvement Scheme” implemented by the Hong Kong Tourism Commission.
There are mainly 3 types: Directional Sign, Mapboard and Idenification Sign. These visitor signage aimed to provide convenience for visitors while travelling around Hong Kong.

wanted to try extended butterfly on spinning pole for ages but was very scared…. But then I tried one from normal inversion and I was spinning way tooooooo fast and so decided to start the butterfly from handspring…
after spending… an hour, I finally got one. However, still have to practise alot more…
1) legs not straight enough
2) lower arm need to push up more so that I can split my legs wider
3) longer duration
4)… etc

Had a spinning pole work shop with Lu from Lu Pole Dance Studio, she is one of the top pole dance artist in Japan. It was really fun (and dizzzzzy)! It is amazing how TALL she is, considering she is asian :p We then had a second workshop with Anja, which is less tiring, but alot more difficult – burlesque pole! The reason why it was difficult as… I am so not to being burlesque type of girl – which is – big! show this! show that! love! etc etc…. Anja is definitely adorable and I love her smile
